The VIVO H5 brings the look and touch of the flagship VIVO H10 to a home digital piano. It shares the H10's Italian-designed cabinet and hybrid wood keyboard. Its successor is the VIVO H6.

Keyboard and sound

  • TP-400W hybrid wood action: 88 weighted keys with hammer action, triple contact, ivory and ebony feel, and escapement
  • T2L sampling at 24-bit, 48 kHz, with up to 15 seconds recorded on the lowest piano notes
  • Modeling that lets each tone respond to your touch
  • 80 onboard sounds in 1.5 GB of wave memory, replaceable with Dexibell and SoundFont (SF2) libraries
  • Unlimited polyphony from 320 oscillators and a quad-core processor, with sympathetic resonance and full acoustic overtones
  • Seamless sound changes that never cut off notes still ringing

Pedals and connections

Three full-size pedals include a progressive damper with sympathetic resonance simulation, a sostenuto and a progressive soft pedal.

Speakers, cabinet and apps

Two 3.5 in woofers and two 0.5 in tweeters are powered at 30 W per channel, with dynamic EQ and a 3-band compressor. The cabinet measures 55.9 × 15.2 × 31 in (1420 × 385 × 787 mm) and weighs 121.3 lb (55 kg). It has a folding, soft-close lid.

The free VIVO Editor app controls every sound and setting from an iPhone or iPad. The free X MURE app adds audio play-along accompaniment.
