Power in a light package

DPX PFC amplifiers deliver high power for mobile and fixed professional PA systems. High-density Class D output stages keep them compact and very light. The DPX1700PFC delivers 500 W per channel at 8 ohms, 850 W at 4 ohms and 1700 W bridged at 8 ohms.

Universal power supply

The efficient switch-mode power supply (SMPS) with power factor correction (PFC) reduces weight further. It runs on any mains voltage from 100 to 240 VAC. It delivers constant energy to the loudspeakers regardless of line voltage fluctuations, so no market-specific power supply is needed.

Built-in crossover and protection

  • 24 dB/octave stereo crossover with BI-AMP and HIGH-PASS modes for 2-way systems, with no outboard gear
  • Fast-attack clip limiters for maximum output without distortion
  • Protection against AC low power, DC, overheating, short circuits and VHF
