Overview

DIVASUB18A is a digitally processed active subwoofer designed to complement DIVA Series speakers. It extends low-frequency response and raises the efficiency and output of the whole system.

Driver and amplifier

A custom high-efficiency 18-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil is driven by a Class D amplifier rated at 750 W continuous and 1500 W peak. DSP dynamic control provides high headroom and distortion-free output, reaching 132 dB maximum SPL.

  • High-definition DSP with 24-bit converters
  • Two presets (FLAT and BOOST) and two modes (NORMAL and CARDIOID)
  • Adjustable crossover frequency, phase and delay up to 10 m
  • LCD display with single-knob control
  • Stereo input and output; frequency response 35 Hz to 160 Hz

In cardioid mode, two DIVASUB18A units double the front output and sharply reduce rear radiation.

Cabinet

The plywood cabinet has a steel grille, two handles, an M20 pole socket and four casters with brakes, all included.
