Overview

SESSION4 is a compact, active 2.1 portable array with two tops and one subwoofer. It suits solo performers, small bands, mobile DJs and music or voice playback in corporate and even home settings. The sturdy plywood construction pairs portability with a professional design.

Tops and subwoofer

Each top has four 2.75" neodymium drivers in a vertical array. A logarithmic arrangement with progressive down tilt widens vertical coverage for accurate sound across the room.

The subwoofer uses two high-excursion 6.5" woofers in band-pass configuration for punchy, dynamic bass and extended low-frequency response. Two built-in compartments hold the tops for transport.

Amplifier and control

  • 3-channel Class D amplifier with SMPS, 1200 W total peak power
  • PROEL CORE LT DSP with 24-bit converters and Dynamic EQ
  • 4 EQ presets: MUSIC, LIVE, DJ, SPEECH
  • Single-knob control with a large LCD for DSP, inputs, configuration and Bluetooth
  • Two MIC/LINE combo inputs, two XLR links and two SPEAKON outputs for the tops
  • Control and connection panel on top of the subwoofer for easy access
  • Maximum SPL 122 dB peak, frequency response 45 Hz - 18 kHz

Flexible setup

A fast-link system with integrated connections joins the two tops into one 8-driver column. Run the system in STEREO, MONO or DOUBLE mode. Included: a two-piece 35 mm/M20 sub-to-top pole, a 4-wire SPEAKON cable and two top covers.
