Hybrid band-pass design

The S Series is a range of compact, powerful subwoofers designed to complement PROEL full-range speakers. Its sizes, power levels and SPL extend the low end of any speaker in the PROEL range. Every S model uses high-excursion woofers in a Hybrid Band Pass (HBP) configuration.

HBP is more efficient than direct-radiating subwoofers. It also couples the tuning ducts better with the outside air, reducing distortion and turbulence for defined, deep and punchy bass.

Amplifier

The Class D amplifier module with a switch-mode power supply delivers high continuous power in a compact, light and reliable package. It includes a stereo preamp, 24 dB/oct crossover filters with selectable frequency and a phase reverse switch.

Cabinet

The cabinet is built of 15/18 mm plywood with extra-durable polyurethane paint and has two flush handles. Four sturdy 75 mm wheels make transport easy.
