Hybrid band-pass design
The S Series is a range of compact, powerful subwoofers designed to complement PROEL full-range speakers. Its sizes, power levels and SPL extend the low end of any speaker in the PROEL range. Every S model uses high-excursion woofers in a Hybrid Band Pass (HBP) configuration.
HBP is more efficient than direct-radiating subwoofers. It also couples the tuning ducts better with the outside air, reducing distortion and turbulence for defined, deep and punchy bass.
This is the passive version and needs an external amplifier.
Cabinet
The cabinet is built of 15/18 mm plywood with extra-durable polyurethane paint and has two flush handles.
