Complete drum miking

The DMH8XL gathers eight Eikon microphones for a full drum kit in one ABS carrying case. It includes one DM12 bass drum mic, four DM1 percussion mics, three CM602 cymbal mics and four mic holders.

The microphones

  • DM12: super-cardioid dynamic for bass drum, with fast transient response and extended low end
  • DM1: cardioid dynamic for snare, toms and percussion, with high gain before feedback
  • CM602: condenser for overheads and hi-hat, made for high SPL at close range

Built for the stage

The DM1 and DM12 have internal shock mounts and hardened steel mesh grilles. The CM602 runs on 48 V phantom power.
