About this product.
Output
The SW218XA adds 3 dB of peak output, for top-level concert touring and festivals with heavy low-end demands such as hard rock and electronic music. It offers twice the output of the SW218A in the same size enclosure. Rental companies gain more total SPL from the same inventory.
Tetracoil drivers
The 4 in Tetracoil uses two voice coils wound on both sides of one former, in two axially separated magnetic gaps. This allows extreme excursion of the cone and suspension.
Amplifier and build
A 4,000 W Class D amplifier produces up to 143 dB peak with extended low-frequency response. It suits high-level dance clubs and touring systems that need strong sub-bass. CORE DSP processing allows remote control of key parameters and full system monitoring.
Reinforced birch plywood cabinets have stacking feet and heavy-duty wheels.
