About this product.

Overview

The QC Series are 2U rack-mount amplifiers with built-in DSP for large touring PA systems and high-profile fixed installations. They network over the CANBUS protocol with other amplifiers, powered speakers and PC260 speaker processors.

Amplifier design

Digitally controlled Class D modules use switch-mode power supplies with a variable switching frequency that follows input level. The result is sound quality comparable to high-end Class AB designs. Efficiency exceeds 90%, with low weight and negligible heat.

Processing and control

The CORE DSP platform, developed by PROEL R&D, uses a SHARC DSP chip for advanced speaker processing, remote control and monitoring. PROEL PRONET software controls EQ, multiple delays and individual driver protection, and shows amplifier status.

The lightweight chassis has an aluminum front panel. Variable-speed fans move air front to rear, and dust filters remove from the front.

QC4.4

The QC4.4 provides four channels of 1,000 W at 4 ohms. It is the preferred amplifier for multiple bi-amped AX2010P or AX2065P line arrays. Any pair of channels can be bridged for more power into a subwoofer load.
