Overview

The QC Series are 2U rack-mount amplifiers with built-in DSP for large touring PA systems and high-profile fixed installations. They network over the CANBUS protocol with other amplifiers, powered speakers and PC260 speaker processors.

Amplifier design

Digitally controlled Class D modules use switch-mode power supplies with a variable switching frequency that follows input level. The result is sound quality comparable to high-end Class AB designs. Efficiency exceeds 90%, with low weight and negligible heat.

The CORE DSP platform provides advanced speaker processing plus remote control and system monitoring.

Control and build

PROEL PRONET software controls the DSP and monitors amplifier status, including EQ, multiple delays and individual driver protection. The lightweight chassis has an aluminum front panel. Variable-speed fans move air front to rear, and dust filters remove from the front.

QC2.4

The most powerful model in the series delivers 2,000 W per channel at 4 ohms. Power Factor Correction (PFC) maintains full power through supply fluctuations. It suits Axiom SW subwoofers: bridged with single-driver models like the SW121HLP, or in two-channel mode with dual-driver models like the SW36XFP, SW218P or SW218XP.
