6" 2-Way Passive Compact Loudspeaker (White)

Overview

The ED60P is a compact, lightweight point source speaker that performs well from a discreet cabinet. It suits sound reinforcement that needs quality, accurate sound in a space-saving format.

A 6" woofer pairs with a 1" compression driver, both with aluminum voice coils for low weight and good transient response. An audiophile-grade passive crossover joins them.

The asymmetric vented enclosure works as front-of-house on a stand or pole-mounted on a subwoofer. At its 35° wedge angle, it becomes a low-profile stage monitor. Its 7.5° angled sides also suit discreet stage lip front fill.

Coverage

The asymmetric HF pattern is 120° wide at the bottom of the horn for near-field coverage. It narrows to 70° at the top for focused far-field coverage. It covers a typical auditorium more accurately than a fixed-pattern horn.

Remove four screws to rotate the horn 90°. In monitor mode, the pattern then covers performers both near and far from the wedge. It also keeps ideal coverage when the cabinet is mounted horizontally.

Construction and mounting

The 15 mm phenolic birch plywood cabinet has a 35 mm pole mount and a recessed handle. M8 rigging points accept optional brackets, and two Neutrik speakON NL4 connectors handle input and link.

Add Axiom SW series subwoofers such as the SW210P or SW18P for deeper bass. The KPTED60B wall bracket mounts it vertically or horizontally, with seven steps of rotation for accurate aiming.
