Key features

The AX1012P builds vertical or horizontal line source arrays and also works as a high-directivity point-source loudspeaker.

  • Integral suspension hardware for horizontal or vertical arrays

Waveguide and coverage

The 1.4" compression driver is coupled to a constant curvature precision waveguide. It precisely controls mid and high frequencies on both axes for tight acoustic coupling between cabinets. The horizontal pattern holds down to about 950 Hz.

Music and vocals reach the audience evenly, without hot spots or dead spots. Sharp off-axis rejection keeps sound away from reflective surfaces. You can build true horizontal or vertical line source arrays in seamless 20° blocks.

Construction and applications

The tour-grade 15 mm phenolic birch plywood cabinet has four integrated steel rails for aluminum coupling bars. Accessories cover horizontal and vertical arrays, ground stacking, and pole mounting of one or two units.

Add Axiom SW series subwoofers such as the SW18P to extend the low end. It suits indoor left-center-right systems, medium outdoor events, and out-fill, in-fill or distributed fill for larger systems.
